About Us:  We are a small church, but we love God and strive to do his will.  We try to provide for any needs of our community.

Our History:  In July of 1993, Elwood was flooded, leaving the United Methodist Church destroyed and the Elwood Baptist Church without a Pastor.  The two congregations began meeting together in a trailer.  In 1994, the two voted to merge and became the Elwood United Community Church.  We moved into the newly rehabilitated Baptist Church, with a United Methodist Pastor.  Each member could keep their denomination ties or just join as a member of the Elwood United Community Church.  We are one church family striving to serve God and our community.
